You place an order with Lafaut, and from that moment on we take care of everything, planning, care and follow-up are fully handled by our team. The foundation for your day-old chicks begins with our breeding partners in Belgium, France and the Netherlands, where parent stock receives the very best care and high-quality Western European hatching eggs with excellent fertilization rates are produced.
Selection of high-quality hatching eggs
In Europe, the most suitable hatching eggs are selected according to our quality standards and prepared for shipment. Our own and contracted breeding farms operate under strict certifications such as IKB Kip and Belplume. The eggs are carefully inspected, graded and traceably coded, ensuring that only high-quality hatching eggs continue in the process.
Careful transport to Côte d’Ivoire
The hatching eggs travel under controlled conditions to Lafaut, where our team carefully oversees their arrival. Thanks to climate-controlled transport, certified poultry drivers and strict hygiene protocols, the eggs remain in optimal condition throughout the journey. Upon arrival, they are inspected once again.
